into a currently running competition (even if you don't have one specific person in mind). fantastic getting to the point, and i loved "blackcaffe d'own yr throatgullething". the play on "mournings" added to it as well, though you seem to do that wordplay quite regularly. makes it richer. nice work. I really like this - reminds me of when I first started reading the Beats and they always seemed to be searching for some place. I like how 'd'own' makes that 'd' seem like a swallow...and the idea of 'skulldome' - how something playing out in your own head is like this intangible place you can't really go, much further away than the other side of the world.
