Twilight escapes my sighs in rapture
innocent need denies the light
The worlds betwixt us too great
A lament on the winds utters hush...Lullaby
 
Tears in the storm mix
sweet Melancholy is beside herself
Sorrow caresses the darkness she enjoys
and I give solace to my desires
 
Lulled into the night I sit alone
watching twilight dance outside myself
Twining souls confused, sigh in unison
Midnight sees their pain
and relinquishes hold over the moment
 
They unite in the sunlight
while Melancholy glories over her man Blue
