Elegy of the Craving Heart
In shadows deep, my soul’s release,
I think of ending it all, seeking peace.
Each day it calls, a sincere theme,
In life’s story, it’s a recurring dream.
A strong desire I can’t deny,
Suicide no longer feels awry.
It beckons me, a way to mend,
Escape the shadows, and find the end.
Problems boundless, a tangled mess,
Suicide as an escape, I confess.
A way to end the constant fight,
Find calmness in the eternal night.
Though I’d prefer nature’s gentle touch,
Its pace is slow, it doesn’t clutch.
I hasten it, my body’s way,
To find peace, come what may.
My craving speaks,
Whispers in the shadows, strong but meek.
A voice that guides, a choice I make,
As I seek comfort in this endless lake.
I think of ending it all, seeking peace.
Each day it calls, a sincere theme,
In life’s story, it’s a recurring dream.
A strong desire I can’t deny,
Suicide no longer feels awry.
It beckons me, a way to mend,
Escape the shadows, and find the end.
Problems boundless, a tangled mess,
Suicide as an escape, I confess.
A way to end the constant fight,
Find calmness in the eternal night.
Though I’d prefer nature’s gentle touch,
Its pace is slow, it doesn’t clutch.
I hasten it, my body’s way,
To find peace, come what may.
My craving speaks,
Whispers in the shadows, strong but meek.
A voice that guides, a choice I make,
As I seek comfort in this endless lake.
