Fancy a Cuppa

The tea you forgot
that was left in the pot
must mean you're old
now your life has grown cold
You long for distraction
to bring on fresh action
to shake up routine
and revamp your scene
But it doesn't seem likely
when change is the key
if you've misplaced the lock
then the door is no more
than the look on your face
at the shock of the space
where your life used to be
It's all so distressing
but remember your blessings
