Wildflower Meadow

The clouds scatter vast
across the bluest October sky.
There exists a wildflower meadow.
A cherished chaos of color
the earth joyously bestowed.
He would wait for her there,
where there exists no goodbyes.

A field uncontrolled and uncontained.
He loved her deeper than his veins.
Through a thousand mortal pains.

He picked her a bouquet
Poppy, primrose and forget me not.
To depict a story of true love's plot.
His love was a million wildflowers
that stretched through that meadow in her heart.
Shorter grow the days that they must be apart.....
