Postcard to Myself

Dear Me,

We finally made it to Alaska! It’s so beautiful here. I’ve never seen so many mosquitos in my life! They are kind of like a thick, black hovering cloud on a stormy day, but the cabin is really cozy, and it reminds me of home. Funny, we even have the same countertops. I can see Alaska's Inside Passage and Lynn Canal out the sliding glass doors. Such an awesome view! It’s the perfect picture for a postcard. Lol, my husband keeps telling me to “stop nesting.” He has his fishing pole in one hand and his tackle box tucked under the other like the Sunday paper. And now he’s headed down to the river hoping to catch the “Big One.”

P.S.  Preserving the memories!
