Some of the very deepest kinds of connections are the power of words along with the potential for actual soul mates. This was my attempt at using a metaphor to increase the ante a bit by doing a play on both while also reflecting on the nuance of erotica, itself... The comp this was for really challenged me and my ideas, which I deeply love and enjoy trying to figure out a way to pen something that I can be proud of.... I hope I've accomplished just that.

I love how this write of yours leads the reader into an intimate setting, using alluring words.  
The accompanying picture obviously begins the journey for the reader, watching the subject write in her journal.  Your lush poem adds the vivid color, though, to the picture.
