silence ....the exquisite peace of our profound love.!
Years later...
even today there
was a silence,
we were sitting next to each other
but there was silence on our lips,
it was the twilight of
the evening but there was
silence wrapped in with
the setting saffron sun,
the pond was full of lotuses
but there was silence
in the flowing water,
the flowers were in bloom
but the bumblebee
was silent here,
the air was fragrant
but the trees were wrapped
in nut brown silence,
the clouds were livid dark
but where was the sound
in the voicing drops?
there was a lot of weight
on the earth
but where was it's clamour?,
birds were flying but
there was silence in their
colorful chirping,
there was fire burning
in the hearts of both
but there was silence
in the grayish white smoke,
there was no disturbing sounds
among us
but there was a
rhythmic silence,
love-filled creations
was emerged in
each other's eyes
but the sounds of words
was not heard in the ears...

Loving again without the need for the earlier talking. Beautiful poignant poem. Love these lines:

Really enjoyed this. Excellent work. Often the idea of silence is used to create a negative feeling, like something important is missing. You have made the idea of silence positive- a feeling beyond sound (or at least that is what I got from the work)
