these days it's been raining then shining
but it always
lands on sunshine
when you arrive,
i crucified you
against a hallway
on monday evening
longing to taste
everything that's
been missing
from your lips,
tuesday has
been living
in my head
rent free
the way you
silence my ache
cradling yourself
steadily against
this shipwreck
of a vessel
leaving verses
on high masts
at the touch
of a fingertip,
mouths
left ruthless
and greedy
for sweet
ambrosia
as our eyes
cannot look
away from
each other.
