Chasing The White Rabbit

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the one mother gives you
Don’t do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she is ten feet tall- White Rabbit, Jefferson Airplane

Always want what is not meant for me, not mine
Look behind me, do you see those men, the vast line
- admirers

Dangle the carrot of aloofness, and no matter what the outside package
My heart will drum like it’s pumped full of magic
The white rabbit becomes my objective
I walk away from all of the solids, cause my views are subjective
Said admirers might have a plan that i fit nicely into
Yet to the white rabbit I pay my debtors due
Oh silly girl, whom do you chase?
Years pining away, somehow a waste
I have a bad habit
I seek the white rabbit
Shocked that I keep running on different variations of the same scene
Chasing him, the elusive white rabbit, asking if I’ve ever been seen
