lol... perfectly put.
It's that time of year for me, too.
Gotta get rid of some tubs as well. I I think I'm going to go by the philosophy if I haven't used it or seen it in 2 years I need to either throw it away or donate.
Good luck in lightening your load.

That's a quarter of it.
I shopped to fill a void under the guise of I'm gonna ebay it. I do sell a lot on ebay but I amassed so much it's becoming a burden.

Yes , the guise this may be valuable, or I might need this at a future date.
I know people that have stuff in storage, and if they considered what they've spent in storage fees they could have bought new. Although, many times the old stuff is better made.

My favorite line is "someone could use this" lol
I'm in the process of getting rid of things.
I have no idea why I have such a loyalty to stuff.

Dear N,
Filling the void. Know it well. That damn void has cost me thousands and it’s still bleeding me dry. Succinctly written with huge relatability. Great piece. H🌷

Living on boats taught me the three uses rule to help ditch non-essentials but now I'm a landlubber again when I go they'll need a dumpster convoy to clear the hoard.
I don't know why we do it when the only real treasure is between our ears.

I love stuff. I need it. I'm Trying to figure out why and let things go. Collecting everything is expensive. I should've collected gold. Lots of gold. Instead I collected brass animals and cloisonne 🤣
