Keeping Still

 

flocks of starlings in the sky
diving, weaving low then high
unseen patterns in the air
lingering everywhere

as butterflies keep fluttering
flower to flower...all within
this moment we each share,
unseen patterns in the air

unseen forces from deep space
penetrate us as we taste
electricity from the Sun
energizing everyone

butterflies and birds in flight
all the creatures of the night
everyone on Earth entwined
in just one collective mind

bees and whales and ticks and fleas
Monarch Butterflies who please
mysteriuosly with their return
to a place they could not learn...

I am in you, you're in me
living in eternity
recreating who we are
keeping still while going far...
