she sat on
soft green cloud
where the smallest creatures
gathered around
sneaking over the bareness
of her skin
ladybugs and ants
bees flew overhead
offering their own song
of summer abuzz
butterflies gliding silently
on majestic wings
magic carpets kissing
azure sky
searching for cool
they gather under
nature's umbrella
mushroom
offering a canopy
of sweet relief

I can almost see the nature spirits after reading this poem. It seems like it might be a poem in a book, with a lovely illustration.
Thank you so much Josh for such thoughtful comments .. I love that the garden fairies, Nature spirits came out. .. I've never had anything published, but I could absolutely get behind someone bringing this to life through art.
