swallowtails are fluttering
hummingbirds hover too
bumblebees buzz from flower to flower
every moment's new

every breath we are reborn
each exhalation die
every night we float away
into a dream filled sky

rainbows, halos, golden dawns
new moons, full moons, more
omens, portents in the sky
wondering what they're for

scintillating promises
crystalizing thoughts
super-sensory escapades
made with ones and noughts

on a screen from far away
images coalesce
you're with me and I'm with you
at our very best
