Light Pollution

My heart is heavy
I can't see the stars
I look up at nothing
Truly it's daunting

The blind and I
The city and it's limits
Steal my dreams away

The canvas empty
Though it does not provoke
I imagine the colors
That I know are there

Splendor lost
The sky is gone
Not a twinkle in sight
How depressing
