Rainy days, cartoons, and video games
Thursdays skating at the rink with many of names
Earning respect without worries of clinging to fame
Late night conversations would really mend the pain

All my loved ones were alive and well
My interest for pretty women had started to swell
Thinking back on the funny stories we use to tell
Reflecting on our success, and the times we prevailed

Reminiscing of old friends I truly miss them
Since we all went our separate ways, things got different
But things change, and we’re all grown now
Stable with goals, and families of our own now

It’s crazy our lives revolve around phones now
Sometimes I wish we would put our phones down
Nervous, but ready to see what life truly has in store
Ambitious and driven, hoping to have more

On this journey, there’s been trials of peace and war
Old relationships left a bitter taste in my mouth
No hard feelings I left my baggage outside the door
Had to sever ties to keep it from going further south
