Five Tenants Living Rent Free

In the depths of his mind, a fragmented soul resides
A man with myriad faces, in shadows he hides
Dissociative whispers echo through his core
As he dances with five characters forever at war

First, the embodiment of rage, a tempest unchained
His fury burning bright, his essence untamed
He breaks through the barriers unleashing a storm
Tearing apart tranquility, disrupting all that's warm
Boiling within, he scorns the world with disdain
Joy in pain, hatred's fire is his eternal bane

Next emerges depression, a specter so deep
Draped in a veil of sadness where shadows creep
Alone in his thoughts, his spirit transparent and frail
He yearns for solace, yet sadness prevails
Cold winds of melancholy chill his very bones
Indifference embracing him with sorrow's mournful tones

Fear takes hold, a tremor running through his veins
A whisper in the darkness where terror remains
With quivering steps, he navigates the night
Haunted by phantoms, his soul gripped with fright
Unrefined courage flickers, a candle in the gloom
Seeking strength to conquer shadows and impending doom

Strength emerges unyielding and bold
A beacon of hope amidst the stories untold
Resolute and determined, he faces his plight
Battling demons, embracing courage's might
His spirit ignites a wildfire in the night
Pushing beyond limits, reclaiming his right

Lastly, a character of malice, deceitful and sly
With a venomous smile he casts a wicked eye
Brooding in the darkness, plotting wicked schemes
He revels in chaos, orchestrating obscene dreams
A puppeteer of malevolence, his power at play
Twisting hearts and minds, leading souls astray

In this intricate dance, these personas intertwine
A shattered existence, a life far from benign
A symphony of emotions, a kaleidoscope of pain
As the man with many masters tries to refrain
Through battles within, he seeks unity and grace
Hoping one day his fragmented self will find a tranquil embrace
