Stripped Bare
I checked, and can see
The seams of my outer skin
As it slowly peels away from me
My flesh now unravelled
Invisible buttons, undone
To reveal my inner workings
As it is slowly unspun
I dip my quill
Into my bleeding heart
As it drips slowly onto paper skin
Yet i cannot grasp
My blood spattered quill
As it slips from my flailing fingers
Artists, all gathered around me
Reach a new tempo
Excitedly, scratching, and scrawling
As they will never again
Witness such a life/dead model of me
That has not only bared their skin
But also their flesh
Does my bum look big in this, as this?
My bloodied words
Now intermingled
Like a lost, or hidden, tattoo
Drowning within my humbled flesh
Ironically
The only word left remaining
Is
LOST!
