The sky would not commit to clouds
but settled for a mist
wherein the planet Venus sank
Like courtesans when kissed...

strait down into her ocean bed
fast dimming in the west
to better see the lunar light
gowned in her seaward best.

In thicker banks she would descend
with Luna right behind
as goddess duo coterie
of like licentious mind.

What coven plan might they both scheme
when drifting in the sea?
