Natural Duck Beauty
Oh look!
A duck!
Thought at
first a goose,
then a swan...
an innocent
mistake, chuckling.
Watching it
land in the
lilly pad pond.
Swimming into
the shade.
Before I realize,
it sits at it's
peaceful resting
place.
Underneath
the big tree
leaves.
Where it sat upon
a brick
surrounding the
beautiful,
wide,
pond.
Oh to be a duck.
What a life
that must be.
One look back up
and she,
is back in the
water....
Oh how one
can't help but,
to admire a
natural beauty
such as this.
