It is what it is
I don't feel put off
When alphas try to find my place
While I perform the masculine
I don't mind
Because then we are equal
They come at me
As they would a fellow man
They think is chicken shit, too
I have noticed
That these particular flexers
Are always in peril
Of a 'weakling' surprising them
So see
Don't get fired up ladies
... So called 'beta' males
Just stand your ground
And do what you do
It ain't your job to paint a scene
You ain't gonna change their view
Just stay along your lines
Never look for trouble
Always defend the weak
Respect and stay humble
Don't let go of your principles
For fear
You'll be just be cynical
May lose your purpose in life and end up clinical
And when a big tough one comes around
Puffin chest and runnin his mouth
Trying to pound the logic down
Let fear and anger take him out
Last little truth tid bit
Is its not worth the anger kids
The bullshit never stops
And everyone gets hit
Stay calm and kick some ass
That'll be the end of it.

Author's Note
I was told to sit while the guys unloaded fifty pound horse pellet sacks cause they're tough for me. So while my everyone struggling cause they're older men, I grab two bags each and find it easy cause I work out and my knees ain't broke like theirs lol. I'm small and compact but I'm solid. I could have taken four if I had the damn balance. Even after I helped, I still got the brush off with the 150 lb sacks and they kept saying no you shouldn't. I kept asking why even though I was capable and got frustrated and just helped. I got yelled at a lot but these are my boys so I told them to stfu and stop letting their lil dicks so close, I ain't got one to measure with. The wows and Im so proud of you are condescending, but then I realized there has to be a complex im overstepping.

You know, I feel like I am a gentleman at

I mean, I let them do their thing, believing in their great capacities...

I was just talking about cleaning my mom's yard...
There were large pieces of concrete that got scattered about
by someone who tried to fix yard but maybe made worse...
I collected them all around, using wheelbarrow and pick...
Twas so gnarly that at the end the pick tip was bent.!.
But yes, I had in a pile...
We brought in a dump truck and I was going to
load the concrete in it...
When I came my mom had already got some in.!.
She had to lift concrete up
and then climb up the truck and move piece into the back.!.
I was like: Well I see where I got it.!.
:)))
But on the flip side...
I recall at Menards, I purchased
a whole lot of garden supplies...
Like peat moss and bags of soil that were on sale...
The guy there stood idle
as he made the lady take all the heavy shit...
Just keep kicking ass and rocking out...

I get chivalry to a point. If someone looks like they're struggling, offer help my God lol. But if someone comes to mine and starts helping me carry things and work, I let them. No one has ever benefited from being held back from things they can do safely. It's like teaching. You can't take the project away from the kid if they don't understand how to finish it but are capable. Everyone needs to be physically capable when they are young if they aren't sick and weakened. It's my core belief. I understand when men are shocked at my strength. I don't understand the anger and pushback straight up telling me to stop It's not my job. I'm sorry, but it's my job to feel fulfilled when I tile my house or built my shed from scratch. It's fulfillment to do my own yard work like my 80 yr old neighbor until I drop and can no longer do these things. It's necessary for survival and for mental strength to be independent of physical limitations for every day chores. And yes, lifting 50 lbs bags, or 100 lb Screaming children is something women are capable of lol. The nonsense needs to end

The old school element of chivalry versus what is your and many women's reality of pure independence becomes so palpable. We're more than capable... period. If by chance something does become 'to heavy', then and only then will we women figure out a mechanical or technological way to assist us. In this day and age, no male assistance is required but I do understand when the offer to help comes from a place of kindness without an agenda and not this place of gratuitous toxic masculinity...
This was a triumphant insight into just some of what we ladies often have to deal with.

Thank you blue! Im trying to spread more wisdom than just anger inducing pieces these days. You bring up a good point about mechanical assistance lol. Like, no one carried that shed into my truck. It was fork lifted onto the bed. There was no dramatic hale of men heave ho-ing the pieces, just one dude with a big ass box and a lift, and I had to unload those piece by piece as I built. So yeah, it would seem extreme physical strength isn't needed anymore for survival unless you're fighting a man -_-. Men seem to be the most dangerous predator to themselves at this point. That's the only purpose these days for excessive strength. Bullying. I don't know. Thats for another poem.
