I love the painting!  I'm drawn too, to how you felt doing that repetitive border?  You stuck with it!  It frames the painting nicely.  It isn't overdone so much that it overtakes the painting, etc.   Wise choice.

It's cool that you mention the border Styx.
It could have stood on it's own but I took a chance with something extra.  My nephew is a professional pet and ink artist and he's all about borders so his inspiration might have morphed into my thinking.  Not sure actually, but glad it worked.  I'm kinda in love lately with Sharpie fine line pens.  If you want to check out my nephew, he's the real deal, does art fairs all over the country.  He's the one who got me to write ....
