The Softest Revenge
Become an angel among men.
Beautiful and soft and ethereal.
And unrelenting and strict and unwavering.
Become something soft so soft that my wings will carry me above and keep those undeserving from touching or experiencing my holiness.
The holiness in having the privilege of being on my level.
No one gets that privilege except the chosen saints themselves.
And may god rest their souls on the day they choose to betray me.

Author's Note
This poem's very different from my normal ones I've been working on myself and trying to return to the person I used to be before my last relationship and this poem was I guess another step for me. I decided to share it because I've not been very active on here lately. I've been working more on my novel and less and less on my poetry. I might post again soon.
