Kalimah

There’s a new found peace inside of me,
I have been given the power to let it be,
I know that this was all written for me,
It is up to me to find the beauty in all that I see.

If I could tell you what it means to let it be
You too would know of the peace that was given to me,
Some of us are blessed in this life,
Some of us give thanks for the strife.

When we understand that this is our test,
When we know our potential final place of rest,
Then we understand to give our life to the power,
Keep ourselves at the top of the tower.

There is nothing left for me to fear,
It won’t change no matter what I hear,
I know who I have on my side,
I have been blessed with the power of the kalimah - and accepted it with my heart open wide.
