A Lonely View

Words that flow from your pen
Seem to vanish in the end
No one cares or gives a thought
How you feel, alone you rot

The signs are all around
A storm inside that has no sound
Yet you write with every breath
Hoping someone sees beyond the depth

As the ink flows on the page
Your heartache turns into rage
Why can't they see beyond the lines?
The hidden pain that deeply confines

Every word you write is a clue
That something in your life is askew
But no one reaches out to you
Leaving you with a lonely view
