A Serpent's Innocence

Thoughts fill in the spaces where silence overflows.
A mind that's subject to basics,
A truth thats better told.

But bright as you are thriving innocent!
Your fangs they thrust out tears of poison,
each time you trial forbidden grounds.
The fiery-eyed beasts are magnificant!
And they rip you from your glorious sound...

So sweet, you are, when your happy.
Living peaceful by the prey you choose not to use
And how weak you are compared to those who hunt you
But hard to comprehend, and easy to lose.

But your power is mighty and resents!
Clinging to your will and you refuse!
Those beasts that scowl at you every second,
Yet they cower at your presence....

Such a feeble character you hold
when conflicted you unveil, and like a newborn child, fight
A fear too massive to restrict and you became
another voiceless victim

But how you treat me like a queen!
Your thoughts are simple, but still complete!
Ill keep those beasts far from your ground,
And treat you 'til your sickly sweet!

Even though you have not committed ever,
and I am nothing like you'd recall,
Still You think of me as only inanimate,
And I am just a wall.

My thoughts fill in those spaces, in which your silence overflows.
What if I had never taken,
and hid you from the world?....
