Oh Lord, what makes us so Human?
Is it the cry of the lost?
The being touched?
The lost love?
What are we waiting for?
We are born, and we die.
We go back into the light.
Oh Lord, what makes us soar?
A kiss, a hug, my hair in your loin?
Oh Lord, where are we going?
I want more.
Lust, love, and joy?
Can you give me more?
Out there in the wilderness,
can we be thorns?
Oh Lord, I wake up
Where are my thoughts running?
I close my eyes and
I see my man with a hard-on
Oh Lord, where are my thoughts going?
To a bed burning on fire
with my knight
into the night as
we become one.
Oh Lord, I know you wouldn’t
inspire me with desires
that I cannot have
As I am a saint, a woman,
a star, or nothing at all.
