I enjoyed your poem greatly. Your formatting style also lends itself to an easy flow. It made me think of a time where I had a crush on someone but wasn’t cool about it. Then changed tack and created space for things to happen naturally. Terrific piece. H🌷

Thank you for noticing the way my words caress the page.  I appreciate you saying it flows so easily.  Sometimes, space is needed when you feel a strong connection with someone.  When the time is right, hearts connect.  It sounds like that's what happened in your situation.

The thought about "the embroidery that sets us apart," is talking about being far away from someone.  Being content, because you can feel them so close.
