the drifting planets
perplexed free
wild as worms
always change
nothing in my motion
of the pupillary arrest

the deaf planets
know nothing about
inertia of my eyelashes
of the silence of the gonads
the planets scream
in the universal space -
where sound does not propagate -
and fall asleep tired of
their cycles

every distracted planet
with their rings
it's like the eye
on the forehead of the Cyclops.
