Eyes of the Sea
Eyes of the sea
Hold painful memories
In the shape of scars
That are torn across
Those muscles developed
At too young an age.
Those hands have snatched
The soul of many a man
And now faced with an army
That seeks vengeance in blood
Yet their target is blurred
With deceit and lies
Just as the judgement was.
Push through the fog so dark
And realise what has been done
For the child awaiting the wrath
Of the grieving soldiers
Is not the one to seek.

Yeah, you could say I know them. And thank you, I think the first verse is my favourite verse out of this poem.
