I Still Care

Know that in my isolation
I think of you all quite often
hoping you all feel the same
with every single missed call
the guilt of seeing your name
this depression will not subside
Its eating me from the inside

the words may be absent
but the thought was there
when it seems I don't care
please know it's not true
when you turn to go somewhere
I just hope you knew
that I wished the best for you

almost impossible to get past
this feeling I didn't want to last
and I'm not sure when this all began
starting to think I've reached an impasse

thinking I don't even really matter
it's on me but I always feel alone
in the moments surrounded by laughter
if I left would it get even louder

no matter how far you go
or how far I fall behind
I hope to God that you know
time to time you'll come to mind

I may not be the same as when we met
but I hope you'll see it through to the end
through all the unread messages you've sent
and the written replies i'll never send
