Don’t let me drown alone

I suffocate on
four-letter words
as your hands
grip my ass and
rest my pussy
on your face

I fear for you
for just a moment,
as we sink slowly
in the deep end,
because I’ve always
been terrified of drowning
and your skin
turns purple as
your mouth
covers me

and I think to
save you for a moment
but then

your tongue licks
straight up
my wet slit,
and concern
turns to
yes
gasped
like the last
breath of air

my nails dig into
the headboard,
back arched
thighs clamped
against your face,
floodwaters
barely at bay

And you do that
thing and…
oh god…
oh fuck….
shit..
please…
oh…

I know I’m
not going to break
surface this time

I know I’m not.

so I throw my
head back
and and let go

They say drowning
is a silent killer
but my throat
is hoarse from
screaming your name;

together we watch
the light
fade

and
breathe
deeply
underwater
