Sustain Yourself

Everyone clings to life in different ways.
Me?
One day at a time.

Some days grisly and grim,
in the cruelest weather,
holding on to every drop of rain.
Disheartened by reasoning of ignoble notions.
my concept of wherewithal;
shattering shivers of smithereens.

Other days graceful and agile,
blooming beneath the blazing sun.
Gasconading my extravagant colors;
that lives inside of me,
crevices shimmering with gold
that buttresses me continuously.

Serenity will always be on the horizon
and euphoria will be
the forecast
for a zestful unceasing change.

and you will see what I can become,
