N the watercolor image is amazing. Well painted!!

It was a great moment in the middle of the night.  I paint what I call hybrid florals.  I just make them up as I go.  I'm an abstract painter so I take some liberties.

Do you ever sell your paintings?  If not, you could make an income off them, if you did sell

I've been selling them on ebay but sales are difficult.  I have 29 auctions running at the moment.  I sold 7 so far.  23 years ago I sold quite a bit of art on ebay.  I was in at the beginning.  I've sold some paintings privately over the years.  If I ever retire I'll do more with it.  I love making art so it's a bonus when I sell some.

And the watercolor has the perfect blend of colors. The hues reminiscent of hopefulness. The shades of Spring when everything is new and beautiful.

I do like doing watercolor. It scares me in some regards as it's harder to control but when I want mood and aura I do florals...

Dear H,

We often have conversations in the middle of the night when both of us are not sleeping.  She reads a lot so fills me in on a lot. Last night's discussion was about Vice President Henry Wallace and Harry Truman.  Strange bedfellows for sure.  Throughout the conversations the dog sleeps soundly as she should.
