ALWAYS HOLDING YOUR HAND
Oh please don't you ever feel lonely or even sad
my time has drawn short and now I must go
always remember happier times we have had
I'll be thinking of you always I want
you to know
We all come to Earth for the span of our lifetime
not ever knowing our number of days or years
I want to hold you hand 'til you're feeling fine
also gently wipe away any doubts and/or fears
Honestly I have not truly ever left your side
though in my absence it may feel and seem so
now I'm in my Heavenly home where I abide
and restassured I am much closer than you know
Remember whenever you should speak my name
I will come running and stand right next to you
I know you can't see me so it seems like a game
wish there was something to make you believe its true
But, please do not feel lost without me so near
for someday it will be your day and you will understand
I love you still and always will so that be clear
and whenever it's your time I will hold your hand
my time has drawn short and now I must go
always remember happier times we have had
