Mine Outcast State
"It's not easy being the real frog in the fairy tale."

the wart of Reality

Each time a rhymester scribbles of self-love,
of pregnant virgins, "souls," and "gods" above,
of Mother Nature sweet and hope upbeat,
I look upon this verse and curse its feet --
in full disgrace with poetasters' eyes
each child in pain who each five iambs dies.

a dedication of Respect
for
Truth
beyond all Rational doubt
buried
deep underground
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
the customarily conventional culture of
conformists
march, 2023 -- the conservative yet
fancying himself a rebel --
not to mention a poet --
in scrawling
a dirty word
