Destiny
Is a strange card
Predictably unpredictable
Whimsically surreal
Intrusive, sometimes spiteful
As a fox in a henhouse
With the curiosity
Of a cat
And as enduring as love
And as sticky as tree sap
The clock ticks
As time hurtles forward
Awaiting fate
Oft predestined
