Spun

finished chasing shadows
she’s returned to the light
sculptured in her repose
filaments of dreams take flight

into her world I’ve stumbled
my silence hovers like the mist
uncertainty now lies crumbled
hallowed thoughts in this tryst

the pearls of beauty I need so
a queen perched up her knoll
time has neither ebb nor flow
her serenity makes me whole

immortality gathers in silence
stars are sprinkled and fallen
like a great mystical valence
they swirl as her flower’s pollen

delicate form brought to life
her flesh is so warm and bright
an enigma that cuts like a knife
plays long into my night
