The Strawman Cult

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16  
 
How could Fred Write be right when most preachers lead with John 3:16?  
 
This depiction of the majority Christianity in the book The Character of God appears to be for the purpose of isolating the movement Fred Wright led within this framework. Anyone questioning the mechanics of it might be deceiving you, after all.  
 
But look at the argument about God’s character. Nobody thinks the Father doesn’t love his children, unless they are actually Satanists. They are not claiming God is doing evil out of murderous hatred when the wicked are destroyed by God.  
 
In fact, the the wicked are already dead so they are not being  murdered for their disobedience. They took care of that, themselves. They are like vapor, a corpse jerking; a brief echo of what once was alive.
