where her journey began
a mystery
wind took her small frame
still full of color
and vibrancy
whimsical flight
soaring
her colors slowly
fading to a golden brown
wing of hope
lifted and swirled
she holds fast to her seed
she is life
having survived a warm
wistful summer
of extravagance
against so much blue
sun kissed
silky with green
let loose
spear in the coolness
of autumn
with no set direction
she flutters
without will
no particular destination
is granted
only pure and beautiful flight
bliss is her name
cradled in the wind
she sails an
unchartered map
caught up
in a playful dance
wildly free on winds tails
nothing to hold her
where she falls and stays
is not up to her
what will capture her
is beyond any knowing
a wish
may her landing
be a soft field
where light lingers
perfectly for her needs
to be met
gently caressed
in sweet greens
only to be lifted
on another course
North
South
East
West
she is a wing
let loose on Nature
she gets caught up
in a snowy
turbulent ride
flailing in drifts
of white seas
on a hardened cold earth
desperately trying to
remember her name
she finds herself
wrapped in Winters hand
served on a plate of white
she is caving into
coming warmth of Spring
her beautiful wing giving
into the depths
of white wonder
feeding her seed held fast
absorbing the sweet nectar
of melting
she dreams of everything
new and renewed
beyond Winter's breath
she dreams in green

I love the use of color to create anchoring and resonant images, the soft, unhurried voice of it, and the details to bring across an intimate rapport. Beautifully done.

This is a rich, deep, multi-layered and vividly crafted poem, JeJe. I love the imagery of soaring seeds, lifted leafs and glossy greens and the vision of savoring the airborne journey, trusting in a soft landing.
