What They Said
They said you didn’t
take things seriously,
even after displaying
a proclivity to pursue
extremes, to surpass
extremes, to advance
relentlessly. What
happens, happens,
sometimes, but a
person should be
remembered for
such things; but
alas, people judge
by appearances
and have selective
memories. To know,
or be connected to
such truths, can
create a variety
of reactions,
within the self,
both in one’s
dealings and in
one’s activities
of introspection.
