Sun dial

these feelings of missing you...
the aching of a love that never was...
that never grew
it didn't get care, sunlight or rain
it wasn't tested or strained
however, does leave some lightweight pain
because I'm HERE, NOW feeling blue
while still being true
this must end.
All I wanted was to know your dreams
so that I could help uplift my king in those things...
a las it seems I'm not who you need
or even want
that's a thought that haunts...
I gave you my body
the part of me that had been many years tucked away
in a nice safe space...until you took it's place
I choose to let you, let this thing fade from memory
Slowly...
It's not working for me...
at the end of each journey which began with a heart that would beam, a heart that would soar...
While caring deeply for you, I just happen to love ME more
I hear the best way to get over a man is to get under another one...
Damn, sure sounds like fun
I am still the Earth awaiting my Sun
