Plumes
In the silver moment
rises a smile
brightest of colours
form a lustrous scene
I’ll spend time in your
company awhile
and tango with you
in the in between
arrayed in glory,
shadows you undress
feathered phoenix in
a slow dance ascent
time drips like nectar
as my eyes confess
for I can’t find the words
in this moment
sweetly you caress
your soft silken grace
while the mist performs
a ritual dance
I would tarry forever
in this place
and not spare another a
second glance
framed in the light of
an abundant moon
you waken the ripples
on the ocean
taken to where my
memories are hewn
as I float on the
clouds of devotion
