Knocking Blocks

I'm  up past one o'clock
I've gotta knock a few blocks
Our most recent argument still has me shocked
Hell we've been mad before, but we've never wanted to stop
 
We've never asked for distance, or begged for our own space
We have always liked waking up, breathing in each other's face
Our morning breakfast was giving each other a taste
Calling in sick, the whole day has been wasted

But if you have any bad news to tell me, please don't tell me
Not right now girl, right now I can't see
 
There were calls and texts all through out the day
Neither of us thinking it odd being loved this way
You simply don't realize the strength that you give showering me with power
So why does it have to be a special occassion, for me to fill our home with flowers
 
We took short walks with long conversations
Knowing that at home our bed would be waiting
We swore an oath on this girl, we swore to take it to the grave
If the whole world was ever lost,  our love would be saved
 
So if you have any bad news to tell me, please don't tell me
Not right now girl, right now I can't see
 
So tell me Boo, what could possibly separate us
Did expansion stop and or did the sun just bust
Returning home, through these tears my eyes can't be trusted
Hell she's sitting on the couch, my new bed, saying our talking is a must
 
You broke down in to tears trying to relate
Sobbing uncontrollably, something about being late
At first I was confuse, for our love you could never be late
But then you broke everything down and told of our fate
 
But I assured you that this isn't bad news, this is what those walks were all about
Standing under the street light heavy breathing mouth to mouth
Why would you be scared to reveal what we have worked so hard for
Hahaha, besides I heard that pregnant sex is really hardcore
