Amok Time
There is emotion, and there is fact,
Which can coexist, but often not,
As when reason is unduly attacked
For having something like a neutral thought.
We all say we love Commander Spock,
But is it for his command deduction
Or for his green and gnarly Vulcan cock
Acknowledging alien seduction?
He would conclude love has its place;
Mostly in the Vulcan loins
But sometimes in her Vulcan face
Where a melding mind protrudes and joins
Into a constructive dialectic...
With some extensions...hypercatalectic!
