Image for the poem Zenith

Zenith

unexpectedly
the sky fell on me
with its luminous pebbles
and cotton candy fluff
red, very red, ultra-red!

menstrually
the sky just fell
as if the moon had given up on us
as if Saturn pawns its rings
grey, very grey, uber-grey!

chlorophyllically
the sky collapsed over our heads
like it can't breathe freely
as if atmospheric gases were lethal
green, very green, super-green!

inadvertently
the sky and the leaves made autumn fall
as if there were sales at the mall
my body was exposed in a showcase
core meat, lots of meat, minced meat from me.
