MR CUPID SERENADES MS VALENTINE

Black Bathsheba, caught in the eye of this King
who, for your love, would forsake everything
Thou,  most beguiling ebony Eve's daughter,
let me join you, beside you, in the water....
Your lips and your eyes so tempt me to draw near,
oh so close to you, I could nibble your ear.
Say nothing, let our bodies, skin to skin, talk
as you rest against me, sat in my legs' fork.,
my hands arousing in you that tingle
that makes your body call for our limbs' mingle.
Embracing the mysteries that we call love
as we fit each other's arms like hand in glove.
The water cannot drown awakened desire
as two melt into one in the rampant fire.*
The window may steam with the added heat
as we dance in the water to love's heartbeat.

Roses are red, violets are blue....
I would get into the water with you....

Author's Note
A poetic response to SweetKittyCat5's Ms Valentine Serenades Mr Cupid. It is a development from what I originally wrote in comment to her poem. Inspired most by the picture (shown here), as well as these Bible verses:

"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.
Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away....."

Song of Solomon, chapter 3, verses 7-8.
