Image for the poem Fate’s complexion

Fate’s complexion

Taking deep breaths
And truly feeling each one
From the depths of despair
To lands fare
Undone
A simple allegiance
Wherefore to forfend
Shaping the visions
All tempters portend
Unsure of the surroundings
Enfolding me now
The ceiling
Is of darkness
The ground
Unfound
Chiseling away the facade
That has tapered my light
Pallid reflections
Of a prevalent fight
My palette
Of perception
A generous collection
A thousand shades of a painting
Creates fate’s complexion
