Mother's Sayings

I gave mother a hug and felt overwhelmed by her life and what she's meant to me. Later I wrote a few of the things I've heard her say.

Adopt a person in need.
Don’t judge.
Be careful, but not too careful.
Help those who have less than you.
Touch yourself with affection…often.
Think kind thoughts about yourself…often.
Touch others with affection…often.
Surround yourself with those you love.
When you love a man, love with abandon.
When you love a man and learn he's unworthy of you, run.
Say you’re sorry when you hurt someone.
If it will help, say you’re sorry even when you’re not at fault.
When someone seeks your forgiveness, give it.
When someone seeks your love and you can afford the cost, give it.
I’m pretty sure we’ll all be one day older tomorrow.
