Questioning Reality
I am just a cliff, you see?
A revelation of the sea?
Did a flood produce me?
Or was it, electricity?
I am just a cliff, you see?
A solid rock forming slowly.
Reaching the skies, no boundaries.
Valleys weaving straight through me.
I am just a cliff, you see?
Petrified trees stick out of me.
How could that form from a sea?
Why don't scientists agree?
I am just a cliff, you see?
They've found cities under me.
Does that sound like years of whirling,
water rapids burying things?
I am just a cliff, you see?
Mud doesn't settle hundreds of feet,
with flat valleys in between,
sounds like something they green screened.
I am just a cliff, you see?
Somehow I formed instantly.
And petrified trees inside of me.
Around the world, no one sees.
I am just a cliff, you see?
Not a product of the sea.
The power of electricity.
A system reboot; editing.
